Linear flows suit a bot. Catalogues, carts and dashboards are far better in a Mini App.
Never trust the client
Validate initData on the server and scope every query to the verified user.
Protect bot tokens
Store them encrypted and never ship them to the front end. A leaked token hands over the bot.
Keep up with the Bot API
Telegram ships a Bot API update every month or two. Version 10.3 (August 24, 2026) added buttons inside rich messages that can open Mini Apps, so plan for ongoing maintenance.
